System Installation

Systems Installation Image

For each installation, we design a Project Implementation Plan. Requirements are fully analyzed, and staff resources are selected for the project. The Project Manager plays a key role in this, and there is an experienced Project Manager in each branch office to manage and coordinate any system implementation. Progressive tools and methodologies are employed to develop a project plan, schedule & budget. Our scheduling and cost-control programs employ current MIS and accounting methods to provide up-to-date and actionable project cost data. Our Quality Assurance Program is reviewed to ensure that the Project Plan conforms to policies and procedures designed for Total Customer Satisfaction.

Our Project Management & Installation Services Teams provide:

Project Management.
An experienced Project Manager will assume total responsibility for successful project implementation. The Project Manager will select the best project team for the requirements and plan the resources necessary for achieving the project goals. Using our field-proven project methodology, the CPM approach will be applied, through such activities as:

  • project meetings
  • documentation of all project activities and changes
  • communication of all milestones met, and
  • responsive management of all personnel, project partners and contractors and other on-site stakeholders.

Installation Services.
Our installation team has been factory-trained to install, troubleshoot & commission  hardware and software, as well as third-party equipment such as: CCTV cameras & switchers, intercom systems, elevator control systems, door control panels, programmable logic controllers, revolving doors, turnstiles and other security and safety-related subsystems. Installation technicians are managed by local site supervisors, who liaise directly with the client to provide regular progress reports and contingency plans when installation changes must be contemplated.

Commissioning.
Once the installation has been completed, we perform formalized acceptance testing and commissioning procedures. Because we rely on checklists and acceptance test plans developed through 15 years of experience on five continents, the customer is assured of a quality installation, which meets the requirements as set out in the specification. Not only that, each device and software application is tested for operation, reporting, control and management.

As-Built Documentation.
As any quality program dictates, a system is not complete until it is documented. Our As-Built Documentation Program ensures that As-Builts (or System Record Drawings) are completed before the system is handed over to the service teams for support. As-Built documentation includes:

  • system block diagrams
  • wiring diagrams
  • equipment lists
  • floorplans
  • device schedules, and
  • system training & maintenance manuals, at a minimum.
